La Sera New Album, 'Music For Listening to Music To'
- News
La Sera shares the first music video from their forthcoming album, 'Music For Listening to Music To', with a cool performance clip for 'High Notes', with news to follow for UK and European dates, what with 'Music For Listening To Music To' due 4th March 2016 on Polyvinyl Records.
Here's a note from Katy Goodman on the making of the video:
"We loved making this video! The concept was developed by Jason Lester, the director. It grew from a straight up 60s Buck Owens vibe video into a monster mash. We filmed it at a warehouse in downtown LA in August, and it was HOT. Like, over 100 degree hot. We had to dry our faces with towels between every shot because we were so sweaty. But it was all worth it, we love the video, and Jason did a great job!"
Katy Goodman returns with La Sera as a duo now (that's guitarist/cowriter/new husband Todd Wisenbaker standing up there). Ryan Adams produced the record, La Sera's first live-recorded analog album, featuring 10 tunes about "good love, bad love, dead men, and confused kids".
