Mangy Love is Cass McCombs’ eighth full-length album and debut for ANTI- records, out 26 August 2016 and if the song 'Medusa's Outhouse is anything to go by it's going to be a real gem.  Cass will be  accompanied by a full band touring North America and Europe this autumn, including London's Scala on 7 November.

Southampton band Dead Rabbits just shared the video for 'All Your Little Lies' the second single to be taken from their forthcoming LP 'Everything Is A Lie', officially released September 5th on Fuzz Club Records.

Dead Rabbits were formed in 2011 and have been tiuring ever since, later this year they'll be heading out on a huge tour with The Warlocks.

Brian Wilson's Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary Tour has one final UK show at The Royal Albert Hall on Friday 28th October. 

Also performing rare cuts and greatest hits with special guests, Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, this may well be the last chance to hear this piece of musical history performed live by Brian on our island.

One of favourite young folky duos are celebrating 10 years with a live album and tour, they said "We realised (with rather a shock!) that this autumn it'll be 10 years since we played our first shows as a duo! So to celebrate this, we're releasing a LIVE ALBUM - recorded on our spring tour, it features songs from each of our 4 albums, captured in the pure duo format with no additional musicians"

The album will be a special release, limited to 1000 hand-numbered CDs (as well as digital download) and EXCLUSIVELY available from their website and shows . "it'll be released on November 1st (exactly 10 years to the day since our first EP release!) but if you can't wait that long, we'll be selling it on our '10th Anniversary Tour' in September & October"

Dave Bayley, vocalist/guitar said, The idea for this song came from something i was told by a stranger. she told me this story about her son that was just so heartbreaking. what she said was so sad, but she told it with a sense of hopefulness and optimism and a calmness. she was tearing up, but she was also smiling and we both felt this weird happiness and sadness at the same time. this song is trying to get at that combination of emotions.

Joe Bonamassa returns to London to play the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday 20th April and Friday 21st April, 2017.

The Royal Albert Hall concerts follow Joe’s recent Salute To The British Blues Explosion tour that saw the American guitarist paying homage to the music of Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page, our review from Newark Castle is here
