Your music is described as Post-Hardcore, how would you describe your sound?

It's a mixture of all the kinds of music we like; we mix really heavy stuff with really

"poppy" stuff. it's a little bit like good vs evil

You released an EP in 2011 when is your next release due and what can we expect to hear?

Hopefully as soon as possible. We're working on a new album as we speak. That will be

our full length debut. It's a little bit more technical and mature but it's still the same type of

music.. just better.

How did the band come together and with what ambitions?

Most of us lived in the same town in Iceland called Ólafsvík, it's a really small town

(about 1000 people live there) and we were pretty much  the only guys in the whole

town that liked rock/metal. So we started playing together as a HIM covers band and

then just evolved. There was nothing else to do other than practice so, we pretty much

practiced every day.

What are your plans for 2103, any live dates in the works?

Hopefully we'll release our debut full length and get some tours. We’re still working on everything.

How do you go about creating a new song and does your hometown or environment influence your music?

Gummi and Atli (the guitarists) do most of the writing together in our studio and when they have new songs we play them at practice and everyone puts their thing in the songs. No I don't think the environment influences us much.

Is the music scene in Iceland rocking at the moment and are there any other bands we should be listening to?

Yeah there's a lot of promising and good bands here in Iceland, but the metal scene is pretty small. And we're pretty much the only band of our kind here in Iceland and sometimes get stuck in the middle between pop bands and metal bands. too heavy for pop bands to play with but not heavy enough for the "real" metal heads. Yeah you should check out good friends of ours called Agent Fresco, they're awesome.

Where was your first gig, any memories and what was your favourite gig to date?

Our first gig EVER was in our hometown and we were a instrumental HIM cover band, we played 20 HIM songs for like 10 people and none of the people knew what band HIM was. It was kind of awful but we thought we were awesome haha ! My favourite show was at Graspop festival in Belgium.

We were really late and arrived at the festival 20 minutes before our show so we had to set our gear up as quickly as we could and then just play our show. We were all so stressed out! but when we got on stage and saw 4 thousand people watching us... it was the best feeling ever ! I want to play those  kind of shows every night.

If you could tour with any band in the world who would it be and why?

So many good bands to choose from! To name a few.. Bring Me the Horizon, the Devil Wears Prada, Enter Shikari, Pierce The Veil, August Burns Red and HIM.

Back to school / college days; what were the most popular albums exchanged between mates?

Most of the HIM and Type O Negative albums, also Killswitch Engage and other bands like that

Any advice for a new band, just taking their first steps this year into the music industry in Iceland?

Practice as much as you possibly can. Being all "Rock´n´Roll" drinking and doing drugs does not make you a rock star. and as a new band play as many shows as you possibly can, even in some shitty, smelly clubs.. We all have to start somewhere.
