Portland outfit Richmond Fontaine are sharing this live take of 'Night In The City' ahead of their farewell string of UK dates, culminating at London Electric Ballroom on 21st October
RF's swansong was signalled in early 2016 by frontman & songwriter Willy Vlautin, just ahead of the release of the band's 10th and final album 'You Can't Go Back If There's Nothing To Go Back To', which topped the Americana charts & made Rough Trade's Album of the Month slot.
Though RF will disband following the final dates this month, Vlautin will be kept busy between his other band The Delines and a successful parallel career as a novelist. Published by Faber & Faber and feted by fellow writers Donna Tartt and Roddy Doyle, Willy's novel Lean On Pete is currently shooting as a film adaptation directed by Stephen Haigh, starring Steve Buscemi and Chloe Sevigny
