Ex-Oceansize frontman and current Biffy Clyro touring guitarist Mike Vennart recently revealed the release of his debut solo album titled ‘The Demon Joke’, due to be released via Superball Music on the 22nd June 2015. Now he is pleased to reveal the track ‘Operate’
Mike had this to say about the song: “‘Operate’ was the song that opened a lot of doors, creatively, on this record. It’s pretty much the best chorus I’ve ever written. It’s the kind of heavy pop song I’ve been threatening to write for years. It’s simple, but it’s still got a few weird tricks up its sleeve.”
The live band will feature former Oceansize cohorts Steve Durose and Gambler as well as Ginger Wildheart alumnus Denzel on drums, who all also feature on the album. Find all the dates below:
